Dollar Days Fundraiser -- Tuesday June 1st, 2010
We have all heard over and over about the bad economy and how that is affecting businesses. Dog rescues are being affected as well! While it may be hard to make large donations at this time would you be able to spare $1? What about $1 for every person in your household? Or $1 for each of your pets? For most of us this averages out to a $5-$10 donation.
Let's see how far we can make $1 go in one week! From June 1 to June 7 donate $1 to Crested Guardians for each person and or pet in your household and let's see if we can turn $1 per person (or pet!) into $500!!
When you make your donation please feel free to put the names of the people and pets the dollars are being donated on behalf of and the names will be listed on our web site. This will give everyone a chance to see how far $1 can go when a large group of people get their dollars together! Check back daily to see the thermometer climb! Example: a household with 3 people, 2 cats and 3 dogs could donate $8
We have a PayPal button on the right side of every page on our website where you can donate and, if you would like, write the names you want listed on the website. If you'd rather pay by check please email Sarah at S616Sarah@aol.com for mailing instructions.

COMING SOON! "GREEN" T-SHIRT JAMMIES!
Crested Guardians is making "green" t-shirt jammies! Recycle your gently used shirts by sending them to Crested Guardians and one of our talented members will turn them into 4-legged dog jammies for our fosters to wear and/or to be sold as a fundraiser. T-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts and golf shirts are all welcome. XL shirts are preferred. Contact us at to receive the address for shirts to be shipped.

Spring Auction-2010 -- Monday March 1st, 2010
We are now collecting prizes for the Crested Guardians 3rd Annual Spring Auction! This fund raising event has been a ton of fun the past two years with excellent prizes and a significant amount of money made to help care for our foster dogs. Any and all new, unused items are welcome as prizes including pet items, clothing, household items, memorabilia, handmade arts and crafts, gift certificates and more! All prizes must be received by 2/12/10 in order to allow time for the auction to be organized and posted on the Crested Guardians web site. Here is Bruiser's Story:
At just 3 years old, Bruiser has some disc degeneration in his spine. It has caused some calcification and a slight scoliosis of his vertebrae. Bruiser will be seeing a neurologist to determine what treatments will suit his needs best. An accurate diagnosis and continued treatment will require continued tests and lots of money. Please help Bruiser get the treatment he will need to have a long and healthy life!

Stella & Dot Jewelry -- Saturday August 22nd, 2009
Now through Dec whenever someone uses Felissa's Stella and Dot link below and mentions Crested Guardians in their purchase we will receive 10% of the sale! The merchandise will be changing periodically as well so if you shop now you can see all new items in a month or so! The first Tuesday of every month Felissa will be holding a Crested Guardians/Stella and Dot chat session on Facebook. This will give people a chance to chat with Felissa about the jewelry and also it will give our members and foster parents a chance to talk about CG and our foster dogs with anyone who is interest!
Reusable Grocery Bags! -- Thursday July 30th, 2009
Very shortly we will have reusable grocery bags for sale! They are a really pretty blue and say "Secondhand Pets Give First-Class Love" and have a heart with pawprints inside! They are very cute and come in handy for groceries, bringing things to and from work or school, kid's things, pet's things, library books, you name it! And best of all, they are reusable! Best option for the environment.
